2015 PGA Championship — Round 2

By | August 14, 2015

A modest win, but a win nonetheless on day one.  2-1 (all favorites, a rarity) yields +0.8 units that we plan to leverage into round two.  Weather was as predicted — nice calls by Stat’s boy at RotoGrinders — and there were no big surprises.  We watched Rory make big turns on his bad ankle, Spieth looked shaky on short putts, Tiger still struggling, I’m pretty sure Phil played several approaches from off property and DJ beat the ball around the course at will.  No brilliant insights but a few more opportunities:

Head-to-Head, Round 2 (one unit each unless otherwise stated):

McIlroy -105 over D Johnson

Matsuyama -106 over Oosthuizen

Grace +121 over Snedeker

Finau +105 over Henley

Bowditch +140 over Luiten

Woods +135 over Kaymer

Mickelson -109 over Kaymer (1.5 units)

Best of luck to all,

plusfours
