The 2016 Open Championship — Round 2

By | July 14, 2016

Great first day.  For the first time in 40 years we didn’t have to listen to Ivar Robson announce players with the voice of a six-year old girl.  Monty started with a double then forgot he’s Monty and this is a major.  For a while, we saw the hometown performance he hoped for last two times Troon hosted the Open.  Then he made the turn and came back to level par for the day.  Nevertheless, nice to see Mrs. Doubtfire play well at home.  Meanwhile, Phil lipped out a putt for 62 and at 8-under there are still many in striking range.  Day one was a good start for us with more wins than losses and we’re looking to roll through Friday with more gains (note the tempting underdogs)…

1 Unit each:

Wiesberger +100 over Moore

Stenson -110 over Scott

Chappell +100 over Noren

Lingmerth +130 over Thomas

Grace -110 over Reed

Hend +150 over Walker

Spieth -120 over Rose

Fisher +120 over Stricker

Best of luck,
